Welcome to Week 3 of ELLY

We hope you have enjoyed your first couple of weeks and are settled into a new routine now. If you’ve not managed along to get your soup or to any activities – don’t worry it’s not too late to start! This will be our last weekly update and from now you should look to get your updates about soup / activities from your local community centre (Westfield Park Community Centre in Westfield and Denny Community Support Group or The Hope Hub in Denny). You can also find information on their Facebook pages, and we’ll link to these from our own Facebook page and the ELLY website (www.ELLYresearch.stir.ac.uk ).

Updates for this week;

  1. The website is having some updates done to it so may be down over the next day, but it’s only temporary.
  2. Denny – If you fancy going along to an activity at the library but haven’t been before and aren’t sure where to go (or maybe are just a bit nervous), the staff at the library desk have kindly offered to take you through and introduce you to the group.

We hope you enjoy the rest of your time on the ELLY Project. Keep an eye out for updates in your community centre and we will hopefully see you around at activities or soup cafes! We’ll be in touch towards the end of the project to arrange a catch up to find out about how you got on.

As always, if you have any questions related to the project you can still reach us at ELLY@GCU.ac.uk or by calling/texting 07917827918 anytime over the 12 weeks of the project.
