Hello, and welcome to our
first week of the ELLY project!
We’re so glad to have you onboard with us, making the most
of your community for social soup cafes and trying activities to support health and wellbeing, and perhaps even achieve some goals.
The ELLY team will be dropping by the soup cafes (run by
volunteers in your community) and popping in lots of the activities on offer.
Stop by and say hello! We’ll be the ones in the Grey ELLY jumpers 😊
Just a few things:
- Remember to take your loyalty card to any activities you attend. You only need to get one stamp a week, but you’re welcome to attend as many activities as you’d like.
- Keep an eye on our Elly Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/people/Elly-Project/100087117096019/?locale=sq_AL) and ELLY website (http://wptrans.stir.ac.uk/) for updates and news. We’ll also be posting some questions on our website about how you’re getting on, what you’ve tried, what’s good, what could be better, that sort of thing.
Updates for this
week:
- If you’re thinking of attending one of the ‘Braveheart Walks’ or ‘Step Forth Walks’, dogs are not permitted. They are however allowed at the ‘Walk for Wellbeing’ on a Monday evening (Westfield only).
- In Westfield – ‘Westfield’s Wee Ones’ is on hold until after the October break.
- In Denny – The ‘Words for Wellbeing’ is at Denny Library not Denny YMCA.
- For Denny – If you plan on attending the ‘Skating Group’ on a Friday evening. Can you please get in touch with them at info@falkirkwheelers.co.uk as they will need to pick up equipment for you.
If you have any questions, or
anything’s not as you expect this week (there may be a few teething problems in
week 1), do get in touch with us by calling Scott on 07917827918
Have a good week,
The ELLY team
